2022 marks 75 years since Partition, poet Sharan Kaur Padda writes this heartfelt poem about the division of her nation, Panjab. Whilst for many it’s a time of celebrating Independence, it came with a void in many people’s hearts, death and displacement of homes to name a few of the traumas suffered. This is an ode to the undivided Panjab, its shared culture, and a time when it was whole.
